Challenge:

Working in conjunction with AMS media we created an over-arching big idea for this well loved Theme Park, Zoo and Holiday destination. Flamingo Land wanted to drive day visitors, raise awareness of their new white knuckle ride - Sik and encourage holiday park stays, no mean feat!We created new TV and Cinema commercials, radio, out of home including digital 6’s, 48’s and bus sides along with stadium takeovers at Leeds United and Middlesborough FC.

Answer:

We had to tell the story of Flamingo Land and the many reasons to visit but our insight discovered people visited the park for escapism, a place to go to have fun, experience the extraordinary and forget the 9-5. 

Whether you’re visiting for the day or a week, Flamingo Land provides adventure, enjoyment, and memories that last a lifetime. And so after a 2 day shoot including video and stills…'Escape to a land…Escape to Flamingo Land' was born with multiple scripts and edits pushing day visits, stays and the new thrill seeker ride.

The park saw record visitor numbers across all KPI’s as the campaign continues this summer.
